For Indian applicants, employment-based green card timing is governed by a per-country cap and a priority-date queue. The wait is measured in years and sometimes decades, and it moves according to policy and demand — variables that exist entirely outside your birth chart. No dasha calculation has visibility into a visa bulletin.

So a reading that names the month your green card will arrive is not a reading. It is a guess dressed as one, and the fact that competitors in this space make that claim is a reason to distrust them, not to join them.

What a chart genuinely holds is the shape of your own life across those years: which periods bring stability and which bring upheaval, whether your 4th house supports putting down roots abroad at all, when career and financial consolidation are favoured, and how a long Saturn-governed wait is likely to sit with you specifically. For someone eight years into a queue, that is a more honest and more usable reading than a fabricated date.

The timing that is readable is your chart's own, and for permanent residency the relevant windows differ from those for a work visa.

Periods of the 4th lord, especially when it relates to the 12th or 9th. These are the windows in which the *idea of home* moves. People frequently make the internal decision to settle permanently — rather than merely to stay another year — during these periods.

Saturn mahadasha and antardasha. Long, heavy, and frequently the periods in which a queue actually resolves, not because Saturn grants it but because Saturn is the graha of things that complete on their own schedule. Saturn periods also test whether you want it enough to keep waiting.

Jupiter over the 4th or 12th. Jupiter's transit is the classical window for expansion and official sanction. It is a sensible time to have documentation in order and decisions made.
