Why most Malaysia charts are quietly wrong
Malaysia is UTC+8 with no Daylight Saving — 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of IST. Note that Malaysia changed its standard time in 1982; births before that date sit on a different offset, which most calculators get wrong.
