Questions
Are these astrology calculators free?
Yes. Every calculation on this page is free to run and needs no sign-up. Some tools also offer a longer written reading as a paid report; the calculated result never depends on it.
Do I need my exact birth time?
For most of them, yes. The ascendant moves about one degree every four minutes, so anything built on it — the lagna, the house of each planet, the D9 and D10 charts — can change with a birth time that is off by a quarter of an hour. The numerology calculator needs only your date of birth and name.
How are the positions calculated?
Planetary positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris in the sidereal zodiac with the Lahiri ayanamsa, and the time zone is set from your birthplace rather than from your device.
