Transparent methodology
We publish how a report is made, start to finish — the calculations, the classical principles applied, and where AI does and does not intervene. Nothing about the process is hidden.
Verifiable calculations
Planetary positions come from Swiss Ephemeris, the same astronomical library used in professional astronomy and astrology software, with the Lahiri ayanamsa for sidereal positions. Your timezone is derived from your birth coordinates rather than assumed. Anyone can check a chart we produce against an established reference.
Evidence-first reports
A conclusion without its basis is just an assertion. Our reports show the planetary placements, yogas, dashas and divisional charts a reading rests on — so you can weigh the reasoning, not just accept the verdict.
Clear limitations
Our reports are interpretive. They are not guarantees, and they are not a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice. We state this plainly rather than burying it, because a reader who misunderstands what a report is cannot use it well.
Privacy by design
Birth details are used to compute your chart and personalise your reading. We do not sell personal information. You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data by emailing grievance@grahai.com — processed within 30 days, except payment records we are required to retain by tax law.
Continuous improvement
Reports are refined using customer feedback and ongoing internal research into how people actually read and act on them. Automated checks run against every report format for grounding and calibration before changes ship.
How every report is created
Five steps. The first three involve no AI whatsoever.

Birth details become astronomical positions
Your date, time and place of birth are converted into precise planetary positions using Swiss Ephemeris. Timezone and coordinates are resolved from your birthplace, not assumed — a common source of error elsewhere.

The chart is cast on classical principles
Your horoscope is calculated using the Lahiri ayanamsa and established Vedic methods — lagna, the twelve houses, planetary dignity, and the divisional charts relevant to your question.
- 03
Relevant combinations are identified
Yogas, dasha periods, planetary strengths and house lordships are computed deterministically. The same chart produces the same findings every time — this step involves no language model at all.
- 04
AI organises the findings into a readable report
The computed facts are handed to AI, which structures and explains them in your language. It may interpret what the placements mean; it may not contradict what was calculated.

Automated checks run before delivery
Reports are checked against our internal framework — that findings stay grounded in the computed chart, that verdicts are calibrated rather than uniformly flattering, and that the structure is complete.
