How GrahAI Intelligence actually works
Eleven stages sit between your birth details and your report. Ten of them are deterministic computation. Exactly one involves AI — and it is not allowed to contradict the other ten.

Gold stages are pure computation. The single purple stage is where AI writes — inside guardrails.

Birth details
Date, time and place — the only inputs a report needs.

Astronomical calculation
Swiss Ephemeris computes exact planetary positions for that moment. Timezone is derived from your birth coordinates, never assumed.

Vedic horoscope
Sidereal positions via the Lahiri ayanamsa; lagna, the twelve houses, and the divisional charts relevant to your question.

Planetary analysis
Dignity, house lordships and planetary strengths — computed, not opined.

Yoga detection
Classical combinations are identified deterministically. The same chart yields the same yogas every single time.

Dasha timeline
Your Vimshottari mahadasha and antardasha periods, calculated from the Moon’s nakshatra at birth.

Transit context
Current and upcoming planetary movements are laid over your chart to establish timing.

Evidence scoring
Each life area and decision is scored from named drivers — houses, dignities, yogas, dasha periods — producing a score, a verdict, and a confidence band.

AI receives the computed facts and writes the explanation in your language. It may interpret; it may not contradict a computed value.

Grounding checks
Automated checks verify the writing stays grounded in your actual chart — yogas, ashtakavarga bindus and karakas are cross-checked against the computed data before delivery.

Why confidence bands exist
Most astrology products state everything with equal certainty. That is dishonest: in any real chart, some findings rest on several converging factors and others on one thin signal. GrahAI scores each life area and decision from its named drivers and labels the result honestly:
Multiple independent chart factors point the same way — for example a house lord, a supporting yoga and a favourable dasha period all converging.
The evidence leans one way but with fewer converging factors, or with one notable factor pointing against.
The chart evidence is thin or mixed. We say so instead of manufacturing certainty.
One thing a band is not: a probability that an event will happen. It measures how strongly the chart evidence converges — nothing more, and we label it that way inside every report too.
Prediction vs. decision intelligence
Prediction says
“You will get married in 2027.”
A fixed claim about the future. Unfalsifiable until it isn't, unactionable until it's too late — and dishonest about how interpretive astrology actually is.
Decision intelligence says
