Mercury in the 12th House in the navamsa (D-9) chart
There is no single navamsa position for this placement, and any page that gives you one is guessing. Your D-9 sign depends on two things: your ascendant, which decides the sign your 12th house actually is, and the exact degree of Mercury inside it. Each sign divides into nine padas of 3°20', and the navamsa advances one sign per pada — so this placement resolves to 108 different answers across all 12 signs.
Find your ascendant row, then the column holding Mercury's degree.

Padas are 3°20' arcs of the sign, computed from the sidereal longitude with the Lahiri ayanamsa — the same arithmetic used for the D-9 in a full reading, not a lookup table typed from a book.
