A note on the chart. Lal Kitab does not count houses from your rising sign the way the rest of Vedic astrology does. It uses twelve fixed khanas which ARE the twelve signs — khana 1 is Aries for everyone, khana 12 is Pisces — and each planet is drawn in the khana matching its own sign. Your ascendant appears once, as a marker on the khana it falls in; that is the one thing your birth hour does here, and it is why the old hand-drawn tevas have it written in a box. Because placement is by sign, most of your planets will match anyone born within the same fortnight — the Moon and the marker are what make the chart yours, and we would rather say that than let the reading imply otherwise. This report computes that teva and prints it as a twelve-box grid, with the pakka ghar table we used named on the page, so you can check every placement against your own copy of the book. It also states which system each remedy comes from, and says plainly which Lal Kitab claims it does not make — we do not assign rina (ancestral debts).
