Lal Kitab remedies for long-running ill health
स्वास्थ्य के लिए लाल किताब उपाय
Lal Kitab — the Red Book — treats a stuck situation as a debt being carried rather than a fate being served. For chronic complaints, low vitality, or illness that keeps returning, it looks first at the planets below, and prescribes acts you perform rather than mantras you recite.
The planets the Red Book looks at first
Saturn
शनि (Shani)Pakka Ghar · house 10Why this planet: Hard work, longevity, servants/workers, justice, iron, oil, leather, chronic disease, old age, ancestors' karma
Saturn (Shani) in Lal Kitab is the karaka of HARD WORK, longevity, servants/employees, justice, iron, oil, leather, chronic disease, old age, and inherited ancestral karma. Its permanent house is the 10th (Karma bhava — work and public reputation). Saturn has the LONGEST dasha (19.5 years), making it the planet that most defines life chapters. Weak/afflicted Saturn manifests as: chronic delays in career, inherited debts, joint and bone problems, low blood pressure, depression, harsh boss/working conditions, recurring loss of employees, and the "everything I build collapses" pattern. Strong Saturn gives durable career building, justice-mindedness, and successful long-term ventures.
Moon
चंद्र (Chandra)Pakka Ghar · house 4Why this planet: Mother, mind, emotional stability, water, milk, silver, mental peace
Moon in Lal Kitab is the karaka of MOTHER, mind, emotional stability, water, milk, and silver. Its permanent house is the 4th (Sukha bhava — home, comfort, mother). A weak Moon manifests as: difficult mother relationship, chronic mental restlessness, insomnia, anxiety, water-related ailments, lack of emotional satisfaction despite material success, eyesight issues (left eye specifically). Lal Kitab specifically links weak Moon to the inability to "feel at home" anywhere in life — a defining modern complaint.
Ketu
केतु (Ketu)Pakka Ghar · house 6Why this planet: Sons (specifically the second son onwards), spiritual liberation, past-life mastery, detachment, occult sciences, immune system, mysterious diseases
Ketu in Lal Kitab is the karaka of SONS (specifically from the second son onwards — first son is Jupiter's domain), spiritual liberation (moksha), past-life mastery, detachment, occult sciences, the immune system, and mysterious/undiagnosed diseases. Its permanent house is the 6th (enemies, disease, service — but for Ketu specifically, the 6th becomes the house of past-life karma resolution). Ketu is also a lunar node — its effects are inverse to Rahu's. Weak/afflicted Ketu manifests as: difficulty with sons (especially second son), inability to focus on material goals, recurring detachment from achievements, mysterious skin/joint issues that doctors can't pinpoint, premature spiritual disillusionment. Strong Ketu produces extraordinary intuitive/occult/spiritual gifts — Lal Kitab calls Ketu the "flag of liberation."
Why "Pakka Ghar" and not your rising sign
This is what separates Lal Kitab from the rest of Vedic astrology. The twelve houses are fixed: house 1 is Aries for everyone, house 2 Taurus, through to house 12 Pisces. And every planet has a permanent house — its pakka ghar — the same for everyone: Saturn belongs to the 10th, Jupiter belongs to the 2nd, Moon belongs to the 4th. A planet sitting in its own permanent house behaves very differently from one that is not, and the remedies follow from that.
The part people get wrong: the khana is the rashi. A planet drawn in khana 1 is a planet in Aries — the box and the sign are the same object, which is why Saturn in Capricorn sits in khana 10 for everyone. Your birth hour enters as the lagna marker: the khana your ascendant falls in is marked, and the reading starts from there. That is what the hand-drawn tevas have, and it is why a practitioner asks for the time. Your report computes that grid, prints it, and names the pakka ghar table it used — so you can check every placement against your own copy of the book.

Jal (Water)
जलWater is the universal carrier of vibration in Vedic tradition. Water-based remedies in Lal Kitab use specific containers, sources, or rituals to channel planetary energies.

भोजनEach planet has favoured and forbidden foods. Eating against your planetary makeup compounds afflictions; eating with it accelerates remedy effects.

दानLal Kitab donations are PLANET-SPECIFIC items donated to specific recipients on the planet's day. The act transfers karmic weight — you literally give the planet what it represents to those who need it more.

- · Lal Kitab remedies run 43 days without a break. An interrupted upay is restarted, not continued.
- · They are acts, not recitations — something given, floated, buried or fed. That is the tradition's whole character.
- · Do not stack several at once. The Red Book's order matters, and running three remedies together makes it impossible to know which one moved.
- · A remedy for a planet that is already strong can work against you. Which planet is actually weak in your chart is the part a general page cannot tell you.
Which of these planets is weak in your chart?
This page lists what the Red Book blames for chronic complaints, low vitality, or illness that keeps returning. Your own chart decides which of them applies to you, which debts it carries, and the order to work the remedies in.
