Lal Kitab — the Red Book — treats a stuck situation as a debt being carried rather than a fate being served. For income that arrives and leaves, blocked payments, or savings that never build, it looks first at the planets below, and prescribes acts you perform rather than mantras you recite.

A weak Jupiter manifests as: difficulty conceiving children (especially sons), chronic wealth-blockage despite hard work, lack of a true guide/mentor in life, liver disorders, weight problems, loss of faith. Lal Kitab specifically associates afflicted Jupiter with "Pitru Dosha" patterns — repeated failures despite competence, as if ancestors' karma is blocking progress.
Venus

Its permanent house is the 7th (marriage, partnership). Weak Venus manifests as: delayed marriage, marital discord, vehicle accidents, lack of artistic/aesthetic appreciation, dairy intolerance, reproductive disorders, financial loss in luxury investments. Lal Kitab specifically notes: Venus afflicted by Saturn often produces the "wealthy but unhappy in marriage" pattern; Venus afflicted by Mars produces the "passionate but conflict-prone" pattern.

Mercury in Lal Kitab is the karaka of MAMA-MAUSI (maternal aunts and uncles), business, communication, intellect, accounting, voice, and skin. Its permanent house is the 7th (partnerships, business deals). Weak Mercury manifests as: business losses, speech impediment or chronic stuttering, difficulty in mathematics/accounting, skin disorders (especially eczema, allergies), conflicts with maternal-side relatives. Lal Kitab specifically warns: an afflicted Mercury makes a person GOOD at speaking but BAD at business — they impress in interviews but lose money in ventures. Strong Mercury gives commercial intelligence, eloquence, and rapid learning.
Why "Pakka Ghar" and not your rising sign
This is what separates Lal Kitab from the rest of Vedic astrology. The twelve houses are fixed: house 1 is Aries for everyone, house 2 Taurus, through to house 12 Pisces. And every planet has a permanent house — its pakka ghar — the same for everyone: Saturn belongs to the 10th, Jupiter belongs to the 2nd, Moon belongs to the 4th. A planet sitting in its own permanent house behaves very differently from one that is not, and the remedies follow from that.
The part people get wrong: the khana is the rashi. A planet drawn in khana 1 is a planet in Aries — the box and the sign are the same object, which is why Saturn in Capricorn sits in khana 10 for everyone. Your birth hour enters as the lagna marker: the khana your ascendant falls in is marked, and the reading starts from there.
